De forma a facilitar o trabalho a todos os que estejam interessados em participar neste programa, aqui vai uma lista de todos os papeis que sao necessários para o Visto e os sites correspondentes e com informação mais detalhada:
- Passaporte cuja validade ultrapasse no mínimo seis meses o fim da estadia nos USA
- Formulário DS-2019 que é enviado pela Universidade (no meu caso a TC3)
- Recibo do deposito de 131$ numa dependência do Millenium BCP
- Formulários que estão no site da embaixada dos USA:
DS-156 (Requerimento)
DS-157 (Se for do sexo masculino e com idade compreendida entre os 16 e os 45 anos)
DS-158 (Se for estudante, como é o caso)
- Papel que confirma a marcação da entrevista (através do site da embaixada dos USA)
- Uma fotografia a cores de 5cm por 5cm, em posição frontal, com um fundo claro, tirada nos últimos 6 meses (ATENÇÃO: a fotografia tem de ter estas características. Fotografias tipo passe NÃO servem. Caso não levem fotografias adequadas a embaixada tem uma maquina de fotografias instantâneas, mas o preço não é muito convidativo, €4 cada 2 foto)
- Comprovativo em como pagaram e estão inscritos no SEVIS(Student and Exchange Visitor Program)
- Podem também pedir o extracto bancário da pessoa que patrocina a vossa ida para os USA, pode ser aquele que sai no multibanco (é melhor levar, não vá eles pedirem, eu levei e entreguei tudo junto a mulher, ela mal olhou para o papel, mas uma das pessoas que vai comigo não tinha pediram-lhe e foi uma chatice )
In order to help everybody interested to participate in this program, here is a list of all the papers needed for the visa and the respective websites with more detailed information:
- Passport valid for at least 6 months after your last day in the USA
- DS-2019 form sent by the University. (for me it was TC3)
- Recipe of the 131$ deposit at the embassy account
- Forms from the USA embassy website of your country:
DS-156
DS-157 (if male older than 16 and younger than 45)
DS-158 (if Student, as this case)
- Recipe that confirm the scheduled interview at the embassy (from USA embassy website of your country)
- A 5cm x 5cm color photograph, frontal position, light background, taken in the last 6 months (Attention: The photograph must have this characteristics)
- Recipe as you payed and are signed in SEVIS(Student and Exchange Visitor Program)
- All the other visas you had to the USA, even if they are not valid yet
- Bank extract of the person that is going to finance your travel to USA. It can be the paper that you take of the ATM. I advise to bring this. The person who I talk to almost didn't care about that paper, but a friend of mine didn't have it, and had some problems)
